If you have any queries, please call Appliance Repair Direct Limited on the customer services number, as shown on your service schedule. Certain words within this policy have a particular meaning. Each time we use these words they will have the same meaning wherever they are used in your contract. Please see the General Definitions and Policy Coverage sections for further details. Any Service is provided under an agreement between you and Appliance Repair Direct Limited.

The Service

Subject to the Conditions, Exclusions, Limitations and to the Support Procedure, the Providers agree that in the case of an event outside your manufacturer’s guarantee period and within the territorial limits during the Period Plan, we shall, at our absolute sole discretion, pay for the cost of repair by the approved repairer when authorised by us or for product replacement when authorised and arranged by us. Subject to our absolute sole discretion, our maximum liability in respect of any one Event will be the replacement cost of the appliance subject to any betterment as per the terms of this Repair Plan. Any benefit provided by the Providers under this Repair Plan shall be granted solely by the Providers, and in every case, shall be made only upon such terms and conditions as the Providers determine.

Any plan provided by us is not categorised as an insurance product and therefore insurance regulation does not apply. Any plan or service provided is a contract of services and is governed by Hong Kong laws and regulations concerning service contracts. For the avoidance of doubt, the limit of or the provision of the benefit shall only be made in the absolute discretion of the Providers.

Payments

Payments to Appliance Repair Direct Limited

Accepted payment methods include Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards. Charges on your statement will appear as APPLIANCEREPAIRDIRECT. Payments are usually taken over the phone via our secure service or via Pay By Link.

Payments will be charged in advance at the time of contract and as a one-off payment. You will remain under no obligation to renew your Fixed Term Plan at the end of the given period.

Pricing

Appliance Repair Direct Limited offers appliance Fixed Term Plan for monthly periods: 1 Month, 2 Months and 3 Months.

3 Months Example: A one-time fee of £199.00 will be requested at the start of the discussed period and upon signing a contract. This will include ONE Kitchen/Home Appliance. Please visit our Pricing page for more information.

Please note that additional items to include, special circumstances or requirements may be discussed prior to a customized quotation being presented. You remain under no obligation to accept any quote given by us. Multiple Appliances will require multiple purchases.

Upon purchase, your contract will begin immediately. We will prepare your relative documentation and send it to you via Royal Mail 1st Class. You should receive your documentation within 5-7 natural days. If you have not received your documentation in 10 natural days, please call Contact Us where we will arrange a duplicate copy to be sent to you.

Complaints Procedure

While we always try our best to provide the best service possible, you can make a formal complaint by following the procedure below:

1) If you would like to make a complaint about the service you have received or an interaction with a member of our team, please do so in writing by sending an email to [email protected]. A representative will evaluate your complaint and try to make it right. Customer service is very important to us.

2) If the representative fails to satisfy your request, or a resolution was not made, you may request that the complaint be escalated to the management. Please also make this request in writing to [email protected]

3) If you believe that the complaint has not been satisfied by either our representative nor a senior management member, you may make a formal complaint to your nearest Trading Standards office who will advise and assist you moving forward. Please ensure that you have completed steps 1 and 2 of this procedure beforehand.

This service is not regulated and this also means that if you have any complaint relating to this service, you will not have the right to refer the complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
